OVERVIEW | |
Full name of organisation | Fringedwellers of the Swan Valley |
Short description | The Fringe Dwellers of the Swan Valley were an Aboriginal organisation, led by Robert Bropho, that waged a campaign against redevelopment on sacred land through political protests, demonstrations, a petition to the Queen and even battle in the WA Supreme Court, eventually the High Court following that.
